We take a drive in the country. The summer breeze feels nice. She tells me all about her day. She doesn’t really like her job all that much. But she loves her paycheck. I tell her that’s bittersweet, she knows. I tell her that I’ve been looking forward to seeing her all day. I love her perfume. The way her fragrance lingers in my car. She reminds me of the sweetest flower, delicate and enticing. She tells me that I made her day; And that it doesn’t matter where we drive. That as long as she is with me she’s safe and secure. I don’t care for my job either. I make ends meet. But that’s okay, because she knows that one day soon I will empower myself. She believes in me, and that’s priceless. We can see the flowers and trees from the side of the road. The moment is beautiful. She doesn’t have to tell me that her love for me is real. It’s something I just feel. A Daisy represents peace. A Rose represents passion, and a Violet means love. My lady, well she’s all of the above. With the breeze in my face and her by my side. I feel at peace with the world.
